Toilet training? litter? Quarantine?

I'm trying to do more research on it. His wife who I have also been talking to seems to be the one in charge of raising and training them. she said she is a vet tech. And they choose to not vaccinate because a lot of their customers requested not to. she isn't against all vaccinations and if a kitten is not sold by 6 months of age she does vaccinate. I have seen the parents and other kittens they look pretty happy and healthy I have read over contract and I do see if my cat were to fall ill within 1 week of arrival then would be replaced or a refund would be made except for cost of shipping. she did recommend feline lukemina, rabies, fiv, distemper and rattlesnake if I plan on taking outdoors for walks or hikes in the future. that is probably the first thing I have come across that has concerned me. She did day that her kittens are strictly indoor only. although she has started to train him with a harness because I had shown interest in seeing if he would walk. he seems to be in the what is this wretched thing phase lol.

That's a LOT of vaccines to be recommending when they send them out with none! Quite bizarre.

I guess as a breeder I make a decision on what is right for my kittens as per vaccinations. I don't leave it up to anyone else as I feel the ultimate responsibility for that creature is mine. They come back to me if the home fails for that reason.

I highly suggest that if you follow your breeder's instructions on vaccinating ALL of those things, do NOT do all of them at once. One vaccination per vet visit. Multiple vaccinations puts a huge stress on a kitten's body and that is often when you see things like FIP take hold on a baby :-(

Yes I have been told that. Is that because the vaccine carries that strain so it effects your immune system kind of like how the flu shot works?

You feel like a momma you're possessive and want to shelter your kittens. I think that's pretty normal. But I guess everyone has their own parenting style?

Congrats on deciding on a furbie!! Zeddie's QT was done in my room, and her litter box is still there...no smell :D It isn't nearly as bad a bunny urine (in my opinion).

You can do a vaccine detox. It gets rid of the bad stuff that the vaccinations put in, while still vaccinating. I've never done it, but my coworker has. Probably a holistic vet does it.

It's the nature of vaccination in general...you are challenging your immune system so that you stimulate "memory" of that antigen so that if the body sees that again it knows to fight it. The flu shot is a vaccine so yes it is similar.

Often cats will be sleepy after vaccines, but yes there are some instances where they have allergies to the vaccines and it goes south. You can talk to your vet about spacing all the vaccines out...they usually put a bunch in a syringe and inject it...I can't remember which ones. If you ask them specifically not to, they should listen to you

Just like every other animal species, adverse reactions happen.

I would wait at least a week, maybe two. But I don't recommend anything but FVRCP for my kittens/cats, and Rabies if required.

If I plan on taking on walks I wanna play it safe. So I think rabies will be smart. And fvrcp most definately. I don't know much about the others and I don't want to be uneducated if I give a vaccine. Why would a vet do a vaccine cocktail that sounds all sorts of dangerous
