Trimming nails

Also, work with the feet in between trimming by extending one nail at a time. I'm not sure about the noise, but many cats seem to be bothered by the sensation of the nail being trimmed.

Anyone tried the glue on-soft nails on SV?
I did my Bengal and my past old cats with then. Some chew them off then eventually get used to them.

I've not tried them myself but have heard of people trying, but from what I've gathered it's just as much trouble putting on the soft nails as trimming the nails, and they usually come off after a couple of weeks.

They come off and you need to trim before to fit properly
They are soft and can not clime the curtains
Trim nails still leave and have scratching effects.

LOL I clipped Azize's nails last night............. Lots of flailing around and meowing like he was being tortured!! I promise I didn't hurt him, I know how to trim nails!! My other cat Sophie used to get pretty mad but she is used to it now and much more laid back..... Boy he was mad though!

when i first got my kitten i was scared to clip his nails cus he woiuld cry and struggle really hard. after a while he learned to suck it up and let me lol. That and I think would developed more of a relationship after a while

My vet made nail trimming look so easy, but my kitty seems to get scared by the sound of the clippers. Any tips to get her used to the sound.

Have you tried human baby nail clippers? Emma Kats recommended this and they have worked well. They are super sharp, which helps a lot and the large safety bulb on the end makes them very stable. Have had great results so far, much better then with cat nail clippers.
