JP, I'm talking about the face. Mayhem looks much closer to his dad, in his face and left sided spots. I'm amazed at how some of the visual traits came through so strongly. But neither of the boys is as large as Commando. (I don't care if Holly is holding them they won't look that big.)

I understand. Kovu attacks feet even when they don't move because he knows they may move, might as well be proactive. He is a serious sock thief and the other day I saw him laying flat out on the kitchen counter. Not sure why...perhaps if he was flat we would mistake him for a spot in the granite? He runs full tilt and his breaks are intermittent so he crashes into things a lot. He jumps in the toy bins, he jumps on your shoulders out of nowhere. We are trying to stop that as it won't be funny when he is full grown. He plays tug of war with your shirts and growls like a dog. Nyah never does that! He runs and loses track of his feet so he does somersaults. He dive bombs Nyah, and then cries when she pummels him. He is funny as heck, but an accident waiting to happen!

That sounds very much like Chongo. He's also quite the laundry thief, dragging not just socks but jeans, shirts, robes and even a comforter. I don't think anyone could help but to laugh when you see your cat walking backwards using his best effort to drag a comforter around. Unfortunately, Trish isn't always as amused as I am.

Yep, they do look very similar.

As for Commando, he is a big boy with a lot of girth. Not sure that Chongo will be anywhere near that size and so far it looks doubtful that he will ever carry as much weight. The boy just doesn't care much about eating.

I wonder at times if Triton will be close to that size when done growing with Commando as his grandpur. But then again, it can be hard to really tell the size in photos.

I've seen Commando a few times and he was as sizable as the F1 or F2s around. Probably a little thicker and definitely a big boy, but the height and length of f1 or f2. I'm guessing in the 18-22 lb range which is definitely a big boy for an f5.

Treywi, my two Commando sons are 11 and 12 pounds and very lean and skinny. They are noticeably above average in height and length for a cat.

I'm in the same boat as Rascal, Chongo is definitely long and lean weighing in at 15lbs. I don't ever expect him to be the size of Commando, just not the frame for it. Commando is built like a linebacker and Chongo is built like a small forward.

Well not much into football but at least I know enough to understand. Would be cool to have seen Commando and the others in person.

Me neither, just a bigger frame on Commando and a more slender frame on Chongo. Length and height aren't much different, although hard to say given that I was looking at Commando alongside adults that weighed between 8 and 65lbs. Yes not a typo, the rescue serval they had or have at SE was just a huge cat and probably as big as they come.

65lb Serval? I thought they typically topped out between 40 and 50 lbs. This must be an example of the extremes. That is a big freaking serval.
