Hi Kaiser... I had been thinking of the same thing, just over thinking probably considering we're not getting out little guy till the 2nd week of Aug! LOL

I did come across this site, a GPS collar and tracking/alert service.

The collar seems pretty low profile, just not sure of the size. The features are pretty nice however and the monitoring isn't to bad 7.99 I think.

Hey folks... I searched the forums but didn't find what I was looking for, so I thought I'd start a new thread about this to get the latest from all the experts. I'm in the market for a GOOD, low profile, comfortable tracking collar. Here's why...
My F3 Charlie ran away a few days ago. He is 100% indoor, except for the occasional car ride. The little guy snuck out an open door, we think, and disappeared for about 36 hours. We immediately put posters all over the neighborhood and went around the blocks several times calling his name. We did the Pet Amber Alert, a Craigslist post, called the local animal hospitals and shelters and the cops.
Started searching back yards, and sure enough, I walked up to a pile of junk with an old pickup cab on top, called his name, and he popped out and leapt into my arms. Kind of amazing. So, after a vet visit, we decided our next step was finding a tracking collar.
Charlie seems to want to bolt when he sees an open door. He's squeezed out two more times now, so just in case, we want to explore the market for GPS tracking collars or even radio collars... Anything that works, but it must be small (so its comfortable for Charlie). Anyone have any ideas?

We live in the UK and I use Loco8torPet , it works very well. But before letting my Sv cats run free I trained them to walk on a lead with me for a few months.

I took my son's Male F2 to the vet yesterday for annual vaccin. We were told his heartbit was irregular
He could have an enlarged heart(?) .... Could it also be stress going to the vet? He is a pretty wild cat.
We would like to read about it before going any further and spending £1000 ...

Definitely look at that thread that Rascaldad suggested, and start a new thread like Paige suggested too. I wold have the heart checked out, I can tell you from experience that diagnosing a heart issue early gives you the ability to continue to enjoy your cat for many more years if the issue is correctly managed. We had our Savannah boy ten more years than they estimated when he was diagnosed at 18 months of age...

Thank you for your replies, we had a second opinion which did not found anything abnormal ,so I think it could have been stress. But we will keep checking.
