Hello everybody !

Most vets use MLVs- and most cats are perfectly fine being vaccinated with MLVs. This is a personal preference issue.

May there be a reaction to MLV? Sure. There can be issues with killed vaccines too. On this topic, I would defer to Per- you can find him in the Vet's Corner here (Uh- not that we keep him in a corner or anything, but I am pretty sure this topic was covered fully over there).

Oke, in few hours i'm gonna visit another breeder.
She doesn't breed the F2 and 3's but it's always worth a visit.
And she has been very friendly and helpful to me so far.
Tomorow i'm gonne take another look at the F2 kitten i talked about before.

I keep you updated. :)

The breeder i go today has 2 nest of F6 Kittens.

Should i aspect the same behavior from the kittens if i go visit F6 or F2 ?

How old are they? Really- not to be Debbie Downer- but I don't think visitors should be handling kittens that haven't received any vaccines so hopefully over 8 weeks?

She had a nest from 2 weeks. but i could not come near them. And another one from 6 months.
All the cats there were very social to her, to the other cats and to me.

It was a nice visit. :)
I got a lot of information.

At the other breeder i could come tomorow to spend some time with the kitten.
He get first vaccines the day after tomorow

Oke, today i went back to the F2 marble kitten that i'm thinking about to buy.
He is now 8 weeks, nice head and very big.

Like i said before, they started socializing the kitten a bit late.
yesterday (or the day before) they moved the kitten into the living room.
and 1 week ago they removed the mom who was to overprotected.

So today i went there, the kitten isn't used yet to play with humans.
The positive thing was that i could pick it up without that he tried to get away.
I put it on my lap and petted it. he enjoyed it and finally he felt asleep on my lap.

Now my point isn't to go discuss the breeder.
I think if the kitten enjoys sitting on the lap, it will bound quickly and i'm not taking to much of a risk.

Also i asked his weight. what is an F2 male normally supposed to be ?
