I think that is a great idea...I have run the gamut with food - raw, whole prey and canned...right now Zuri is on canned kitten food because I want to be sure she gets enough of the nutrients she needs...and as much as I love to feed raw and believe it is better for all cats, I just cannot be sure she is getting what she needs with raw - I can only guess...and I don't want to take that chance.

But she is still getting some whole prey as well...and a bit of raw...but she is preferring kitten foods these days and this way, at least I know the kittens (or hope) (and Zuri) are getting what they need.

I agree. They may need that extra nutrients than normal. I tried to change Sofia's diet but she ws upset about it. I will try slower than I did before and see how that goes. They are all like a 2 year old. :)
