Another day and another soggy noggin.
Yuki is so fascinated with grooming my head it seems to almost be her only objective when I'm there. In fact, trying to keep her from getting to my shoulders or worse trying to pry her off, makes me think she may actually be an octopus in a fur coat!
I stopped by the vet on the way home to get some forms filled out to submit my claims to Trupanion for their visit and was regaled with more stories of how everyone was taking pictures and that everyone loves my cats.
They were like that with San before he passed away too. They keep asking my secret for having such great pets. If I knew that I'd try to bottle it and sell it for a fortune. The staff at the vet are promising to email me pictures.
Also they were telling me something I had already figured out, that Yuki and Yeti are very closely bonded to one another and she is very motherly toward him. The vet checked to see if maybe Yuki had been bred and determined that, no she never had a litter. Apparently this is just a trait she learned from her mother. There is no way I could separate them without breaking their hearts.
Regarding their health, they checked out A-OK. The only noticed thing to work on was concentrated urine. That was probably from them holding their waste until the long trip ended. To fix it I am going to move the Glacier Point Perfect Fountain (what do you mean knock it off with the product placement?) into the safe room and order another one tonight. (Barry will be happy).
Tried an experiment. Bought a rotisserie chicken and sliced a breast up into little pieces and offered to all of my cats. They each took a bite or three and then ignored the rest. At least I now know the rest of it's MINE!, ALL MINE!
Well, that's our day, how was yours?
