Hhhmmmm? Healthy cat, new vet, strange diagnosis......I think i would get another opinion for sure.

Get all the info and check back here. I am sure others can weigh in when you have the official numbers, test results, and the drug name they are prescribing.

Good luck

Agree with everyone else... Usually a cat with pancreatitis will be very sick.

Yes, they said that they can, but I would rather go pick the copy up...my printer is kind of old and slow..I'm in the process of getting a new printer and computer.
You could ask for both... email it to you and go pick it up before taking to another vet. Just thinking that if you asked for the email it might be quicker and you could start looking up what values they thought were indicating pancreatitis...

You can also look up pancreatitis, http://www.2ndchance.info/pancreatitiscat.htm is a good link.

Normally a cat with pancreatitis would also be in a lot of pain. Rafiki was on buprenorphine when she had it.

I know Paige...this vet, that's an older lady also, used to work at another pet hospital called Mostly Cats....I'm going to check out that place next to take Newton for a recheck and find out why she don't work there no more.

How do I know if Newton is in alot of pain....all that vet said was they throw up alot...The only time he throws up is when he eats to fast or fur balls, and when he tries to eat a little of his cat litter..the walnut Blue litter.
